Project 1
I was involved in the investigation of three separate "Serial Killers," who collectively killed over 30 people. In the last of these "Serial Murder" Investigations, I was the lead supervising investigator in charge of a Multi-Agency task force comprising over 40 law enforcement personnel from local, State and Federal agencies. This investigation involved a serial killer who beat to death and set on fire, four Miami women over a period of nearly one year. The investigation culminated with the arrest of the perpetrator, who is currently awaiting trial. |
Project 2
I was the co-lead Detective in the investigation of a group of Columbian "Hit Men" who killed over 50 people world-wide. This investigation took approximately 10 years and culminated with the arrest and conviction of all those involved as well as the female "Kingpin" who ordered and financed the executions. |
Project 3
I was the lead Detective and then the Supervising Detective Sergeant in the murder investigation involving two of Miami’s largest and most notorious drug lords. Sal Magluta and Willie Falcon ordered the murder of many Federal and State witness who were scheduled to testify against them in their drug trials. During one trial they infiltrated the jury by paying off the jury Forman, which led to their acquittal. The jury Forman was later convicted in this incident. Magluta and Flacon are currently awaiting trial on a variety of charges, including the murder for hire of government witness.
During the last five years of my homicide career I was assigned as the lead investigator into ALL the shootings involving Miami Police Department Police Officer. These cases obviously offered the highest degree of investigative integrity, being that community leaders frequently accused the officers of abusing their authority.
On numerous occasions, and sometimes for many months at a time... |
