Project 1
Mention the diet drug combination, Fen-Phen, and many folks think of this firm's successful prosecution of cases against American Home Products for the valvular heart disease and cardio-pulmonary problems suffered by many of the firm's clients. With a jury verdict of $29 million against AHP, F&A paved the way for hundreds of clients' claims to be resolved during the litigation process and before the expense of trial. The firm is currently evaluating a number of additional Fen-Phen cases. |
Project 2
Over the years, F&A has recovered tens of millions of dollars for clients in general and commercial aviation cases. Major aviation disaster cases F&A has handled include the Arrow Air aircraft disaster near Gander, Newfoundland; 1989 TAN SAHSA aircraft disaster near Tegucigalpa, Honduras; US Air 426 aircraft disaster near Pittsburgh; ValuJet aircraft disaster in the Florida Everglades; and the American Airlines crash of flight 587 in the Queens neighborhood of Belle Harbor, New York.
· 248 members of the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division died in the Arrow Air crash in Gander, Newfoundland. The firm represented grieving families resulting in numerous substantial confidential settlements.
· The Tan Sahsa Airlines crash near Tegucigalpa, Honduras, resulted in numerous substantial confidential settlements for families who lost loved ones.

Project 3
Fleming and Associates is currently representing thousands of individuals who lost their pensions and life savings in the downfall of Enron, one of America's largest oil, gas and energy traders. In the fall of 2001, Enron acknowledged several hundred million dollars of previously undisclosed liabilities. The company filed for bankruptcy by early December 2001. F&A represents many of Enron shareholders in a lawsuit against Enron executives and directors and Arthur Andersen, Enron's accounting firm. |
