Melendez, C.I.I., a retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer with 20 years of military service, established SIC Inc. in 1984 and is the President and sole owner. He is a member in good standing of the Council of International Investigators.

Corporate Competitive Intelligence Operations, Counter surveillance and surveillance operations, Opposition Research, Insurance Adjustment Services, electronic counter-surveillance (de-bugging) for the corporate environment, recovery services (hostage rescue, aircraft and yacht) are examples of the type of experience and capabilities available with SIC, INC.
